Texas Teacher Sentenced to 25 Years for Abusing Students

Alfredo Andrade-Gayton, 35, a teacher at Walnut Creek Elementary School in Austin Texas, was sentenced to 25 years in prison for abusing several students, including a 6-year-old at summer school. Andrade-Gaytan was arrested in June 2014. He originally was facing four counts of indecency with a child and a single count of sex abuse of a child continuous. As part of the terms of the plea deal, two of the indecency charges were dropped and he was sentenced on the other two charges for 10 years and 20 years, respectively.
