San Diego Man Accused of Molesting Children at Ex-Wife’s Home Day Care
SAN DIEGO – Multiple news outlets reported that a 64-year-old Rancho Bernardo man was arrested last week on multiple counts of molestation and child pornography involving young children who were cared for at his ex-wife’s home day care. Abdulla Sediqi was first arrested after a woman shopping at Valley Thrift Store in Escondido noticed him crouching down with a cell phone, taking photos of a woman up her skirt. The woman called police and Sediqi was quickly apprehended. The initial police investigation revealed photographs of numerous women, including two juveniles. Sediqi was charged with disorderly conduct for “up skirting”. He was arrested and released after posting bail, but as police continued their investigation, they found 23 pornographic images of children, mostly girls between the ages of 3 and 5. According to Escondido Police Chief Craig Carter, the photos were very graphic and disturbing. Four of the victims were identified as clients at Kid’s Castle Day Care Center. Other charges are expected to be filed soon. A preliminary hearing court date was set for July 2. Bail was set at $3 million in court Friday, where Deputy District Attorney Claudia Grasso described Sediqi as a “true predator.”
