Former Minnesota Boy Scout Files Molestation Lawsuit
A former Minnesota boy scout has filed a lawsuit against the Boy Scouts of America, claiming he was molested by a serial abuser in St. Paul in 1969 and 1970. According to the suit, the victim was 11 or 12 when he was aused by David Leonard Keys, a former leader in the organization. Keys was previously arrested in 1970 for kidnapping a little boy and attempting to sodomize him. He pleaded guilty. He is currently in federal prison following a 2004 conviction of producing and possessing child pornography. In 2013, the Minnesota Child Victims Act, lifted the statute of limitations for child abuse cases, opening a three-year-window for people to sue. News Source: KARE11.com
