Northern California Preschool Teacher Arrested for Sexual Battery

ALAMEDA COUNTY, CA — Alexander Kurtz, 22, of Castro Valley, a preschool teacher in Pleasanton, was arrested last week after being suspected of sexual battery on a teen girl. The victim, a 13-year-old, was a former student at Building Kidz Preschool, where Kurtz worked as a teacher. The alleged acts are believed to have happened in December of 2014. The news report stated Kurtz is not suspected of any inappropriate relations with any current students at the school. Kurtz was fired from his position after his employer learned of the allegations.
