Dana Hills High School Spanish Teacher Arrested and Charged with Molestation

ORANGE COUNTY, CA — The Orange County Register reported Ezequiel Christopher Barragan, 48, a Spanish teacher at Dana Hills High School, was arrested Monday night on child molestation and child pornography charges. Barragan had been the target of a United States Postal Service child pornography investigation. During the investigation, officials found that Barragan had also had sexual relations with a male minor. The victim was not a student at Dana Hills High. Barragan had been involved in coaching youth baseball at the junior high and senior high levels, as well as volunteered with Court Appointed Special Advocates for Orange County for the last several years. Barragan was arrested for lewd and lascivious conduct with a child under the age of 14 years old and possession of child pornography, and held on $500,000 bail at Orange County Jail.
