Las Vegas Doctor Accused of Drugging Patients to Sexually Assault Them
In June, Binh “Ben” Chung, a doctor in Las Vegas, NV, was charged with using a minor to produce child porn and 10 counts of possession of child porn. This week, prosecutor identified at least 11 victims and added 17 more charges in the case. According to the Las Vegas Sun, prosecutors allege that Chung used drugs to put victims under anesthesia so he could rape them. He also was charged with lewdness for groping the victims so he could rape them. Chung received his medical degree in 2001 and completed his residency in Las Vegas in 2004. According to Chung’s arrest report, the investigation began after his wife found videos of him “having sex with women who appeared unresponsive.” Chung is a native of Vietnam and a U.S. citizen.
